Ecological Surveys
We offer equipment to assist Ecologists for undertaking Ecological and Habitat surveys and mapping, helping them to have the correct information for liaising with clients and local authorities.
Ecological surveys are usually undertaken are for a range of protected and notable species including great crested newts and bats along with badgers, water voles, and reptiles. We also support clients with equipment for Habitat Surveys and National Vegetation Classification (NVC) botanical surveys.
The ecological surveys we have provided equipment for has been involved in range from bat survey and great crested newt survey and mitigation projects for wind farms; bat survey and mitigation projects for building conversions and demolition; and large scale Phase 1 Habitat Surveys and Protected Species Risk Assessments for large infrastructure sites.
The evidence gained from our equipment is also used by our Clients to complete BREEAM Land Use and Ecology Assessments and Code For Sustainable Homes (CfSH) Assessments for a range of school, industrial and domestic developments.
