Ghost Voice Communication Box

Ghost Voice Communication Box – The latest concept in ghost box radios, brought to you by Infraready.

At Infraready, we strive to bring exciting new experimental devices to the forefront of Paranormal Investigation.  While we pride ourselves in developing and building your ideas into reality, we also team up with a small number of closely chosen supplies from around the globe that follow the same ethics as we do, one of these supplies being Paratronics.

The Ghost Voice Communication Box differs from traditional forms of scanning radio as its circuitry allows the scanning of a broader  frequency range, the range of which can be set by the user.

Traditional FM ghost boxes tend to cover the broadcast range between 88-108 MHZ, the area where everyday radio channels transmit. The Ghost Voice Communication Box allows the user to set a range between 0-150Mhz, which offers the potential to gather up to 5 times the number of frequencies.

The Ghost Voice Communication Box is simple to use and includes the following;

  • Clear LCD display
  • Backlit Speaker
  • Mode / Power Buttons
  • An integral Rechargeable Battery / USB recharging port
  • Audio Volume / Mute button (this button can be used to mute the audio when calling out for a response)
  • 3.5mm Audio Output (For connecting to an EVP recorder via a 3.5mm Male / Male lead, not included)
  • 3.5mm Telescopic Antenna (Can be disconnected to further detune reception)
  • Robust 3D printed design with pop out stand

After turning the device on the device will follow as short boot up routine, calibration to the device to its surrounding area so its ready for use.

The LCD display will then show a summary of the settings that have been chosen by the user and begin to sweep the chosen frequencies.

The Mode Button – Pressing this will toggle through the following setting. The up and down arrow keys can then be used to skip through the options.

Direction – Random / Reverse / Forward

The direction of the scanning sweep can set to run in a forward or reverse direction, or alternatively in a random fashion.

Accent LED – Rainbow / Cycle / Green / Blue / Red / Off

The colour of the backlit speaker can be set to off, or any of the colours shown above.

Radio Mode – Ghost Voice / Frequency Receiver

The Ghost Voice Mode will activate the box to scan between the Minimum and Maximum frequency range set by the user (ref frequency setting parameters below).  If a specific frequency is found to be of interest during the scan, placing the box in Frequency Receiver Mode will disable the auto scanning sequence allowing the user to manual tune the box in 0.1 Mhz steps to the frequency where specific activity was observed.

Freq Range High – Min setting 1.1 Mhz / Max Setting 150 Mhz

This determines the lower end of the frequencies you wish to scan.  For example, if you wish to use the box as a detuned radio and scan the standard FM broadcast frequencies, the min setting can be placed at 88 Mhz.

Freq Range Low – Min setting 1.0 Mhz / Max Setting 149.9 Mhz

This determines the hiher end of the frequencies you wish to scan.  For example, if you wish to use the box as a detuned radio and scan the standard FM broadcast frequencies, the min setting can be placed at 108 Mhz.

Indicator – On / Off

The LED indicator on the front of the box can be set ‘On’ to blink each time the frequencies increase / decrease.

Scanning Speed – In Ghost Voice mode, once the chosen parameters have been set, the up / down buttons on the front of the box can be used to adjust the speed of sweep.
