Description
Lumix G3 Modified Camera Converted To Full Spectrum
The Ultimate Camera For Ghost Hunting, Forensics or IR photography. This Full Spectrum Converted Digital Camera Body Is A Great Way To Experience Standard, UV, Full Spectrum and Infrared Photography. Unlike standard glass that blocks UV light, the Camera has been converted using fused silica that allows UV, IR and Visible light to pass to the sensor. External filters can be used to isolate specific wavelengths of light. A UV ghost hunting camera, how cool is that.
UV Capable with Our Quartz Lenses and Illumination.
To achieve UV images, we advise using a quartz lens as standard off the shelf glass lenses block out UV meaning that long exposures are required to expose the sensor to a limited amount of UV light. When fitted with the Quartz lens, UV illumination becomes an effective form of light to pair with the camera, excellent for paranormal investigation.
When using UVA Illumination we advise that suitable precaution to limit direct exposure to the skin and eyes is taken.
UVB and UVC light should only be used if you have a full understanding of the risk of using such light sources and the precautions that should be taken, i.e UV Blocking sunscreen and UV eye protection.
While we dont hold Quartz Lenses, UV Filters and Illuination in stock. We prefer customers that are looking to buy these items contact or call us so that we can run through the ins and outs of UV and advise the precautions that should be taken.
Liveview Mode – Compose Images In Real Time

The Standard Internal Hot Mirror Filter Has Been Replaced To Allow Uv / Visibile / Infrared Light To Pass, Meaning External Filters Can Be Used To Contol The Wavelengths Of Light Reaching The Sensor. All Types Of Infrared Images Can Be Achieved Using This Technique. We Are Happy To Provide Advice To Help You Without Obligation.
This Type Of Filter Is Also The First Choice For Those Wishing To Capture Nocturnal Wildlife Like Bats, Badgers, Foxes And Beavers As The Camera Can Be Paired With Infrared Illumination To Allow It To See In The Dark!!!
